The start of the new school year is upon us! Whether your child will be attending digitally, or onsite, let’s make the best of it! We’re all in this together!
To kick off the school year, Willow Tree is hosting a “Back to School” essay contest!
Topic: “What the first day of school means to me”
Details: Essay should be no longer than one page. It can be handwritten, or typed (although a handwritten note would be a great keepsake),
Should be an age appropriate length (would expect younger children to provide a shorter essay than older children; parents are welcome to help the younger ones as needed).
Grade Categories: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12
Deadline: Friday, July 31st
Prize: $25 Amazon gift card; one winner for each grade category (total of 4 prizes)
Where to submit: Mailbox at 1311 Willow Tree Drive or screenshot/attach in an email to annetrent@tappcg.com
Include the following in the submission:
1. First and last name of student
2. First and last name of one parent
3. Grade as of August 3rd
Selection of Winners: Social Committee members will review and vote for the winner in each grade category. Any hardcopy essays will be returned to the parent at the conclusion of the contest.
